I cannot say it often enough. A shoot in the dunes and on the beach is always beautiful. In the summer only early in the morning or in the evening as the light is at its best. We always start the shoot on top of the dune. There you have a beautiful view. From there we slowly walk downhill and take pictures along the way. Then we go to the beach. Something the children always look forward to. A nice reward for all the 'hard work' they had to do in the dunes ;-) And on the beach they can decide for themselves what they want to do. And that in turn produces very spontaneous photos. Although I am not strict in the dunes either :-) A shoot should be relaxed!
