And suddenly he is 18, 1.96 m, in possession of his driver's license, a girlfriend and this year his final exams. But still my little guy whose humor always makes my day.

Today, for the 4th year in a row, I am doing a Christmas shoot with one of my favourite expat families. The setting is the same every year, but the photos are always different. And it is so nice to see the results and compare how Mateo has changed. How wonderful it would be to do this shoot until he is 18 ;-)

What a special shoot this was. The lady is 86 and still takes care of her husband completely independently. The gentleman is 95, has difficulty walking and is visually impaired, but still very present and clear of mind.

This is Tim. This year he will start his own company Simply Fitness. He wanted some relaxed photos for his website. And what better place for that than the beach.

For this shoot I traveled to Germany to visit an ex-colleague of my husband, whose family we are now also good friends with. Merlin is a lovely little boy who is well spoiled by his bigger sister. It was a gloomy day, but fortunately there is always a place in the house where there is good light.

This cheerful family currently lives in England. But they have never forgotten their time in The Hague and still enjoy visiting. They consider The Hague to be such beautiful city that they wanted to have their young family captured here. And I don't blame them :-)

I don't photograph a wedding from early in the morning until late at night. But a 'short' wedding makes me very happy and I still enjoy being a wedding photographer for a couple of hours.

I previously did a maternity shoot with this lovely expat family. Today I attended Davide's 40th birthday party as a surprise. His family from Italy was also present. It turned into a cheerful chaos with cake, balloons and champagne.
